Gemma Pearson
I am a HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist and Chartered Forensic Psychologist with over 20 years of experience across NHS, forensic and private mental health services. I take an individualised approach to therapy, working to understand not only the difficulties you are experiencing but also the life experiences, relationships and personal strengths that have shaped who you are. Schema Therapy is a core part of my practice, particularly when supporting people whose current challenges are rooted in childhood trauma, longstanding emotional patterns or complex mental health needs. I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who feel caught in cycles of perfectionism, self-criticism, avoidance or disconnection, helping them develop healthier and more fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and others.
