Anna Carver
I bring a wide range of life and professional experiences to my work as a therapist, having followed a varied path through roles in mental health, education, skilled trades, and academic study before entering the profession. My background includes supporting ex-offenders, advocating for people experiencing mental health difficulties, and working with young people with learning disabilities, all of which have shaped my understanding of people's unique experiences. Coming from a mixed cultural heritage, I have a personal appreciation of identity, privilege, and hidden difference, and I recognise the impact that intersectionality and marginalisation can have on emotional wellbeing. I strive to offer a thoughtful, inclusive, and respectful therapeutic space where every individual feels understood and valued.
